Auto-apply

Auto apply to jobs that actually match your stack

Fill in your profile once. CareerHawk picks your strongest matches, completes each employer’s own application form with your details, and submits it as you. Every application it sends comes with a picture of the finished form.

What auto-apply does, step by step

  1. You build your profile once. Upload your résumé, confirm your contact details, links, work authorisation, salary range, notice period and the standard questions employers ask. Optional demographic questions can be skipped or answered “Prefer not to say”.
  2. You start it. On the free plan you tap Try it free and confirm. On a paid plan, applications begin right after you subscribe and continue about once a day while the plan is active.
  3. CareerHawk picks the jobs. It takes the best-matching recent remote jobs for your stack, one per company, and skips anything you have already applied to.
  4. It completes the employer’s form. Each application goes through the public form the employer publishes for that job, filled with your answers and your résumé.
  5. You see proof. Every application sent appears on the Apply tab and in My Jobs, with a picture of the completed form and the date it went out.

What auto-apply will never do

Auto-applying is only worth it if employers get real, accurate applications. So there are hard limits:

  • It never invents an answer. If a form asks something your profile doesn’t cover, that job is skipped rather than guessed.
  • It never gets around a captcha. Forms that need a captcha, a code emailed to you, or a sign-in are skipped, and don’t count against your plan.
  • It never applies twice to the same role, and it applies to one role per company per run, so recruiters don’t see a wall of applications from you.
  • It never sends anything you didn’t start. Nothing goes out until you tap start or subscribe.

Auto-apply currently applies to remote roles open to candidates in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You can browse, save and track jobs in every region yourself.

Is auto-applying a good idea?

It depends on how it’s done. Mass-applying with a generic résumé to anything with “engineer” in the title wastes your time and recruiters’. CareerHawk is built the other way round: it only applies where your stack is a strong match, sends your real details, and keeps every application visible so you can follow up.

Think of it as the repetitive half of a job search done for you: finding fresh roles, filling the same contact fields for the hundredth time, uploading the same PDF. The parts that need you, like tailoring your résumé, preparing for interviews and replying to recruiters, stay yours. Our guide on whether auto-applying is worth it goes deeper.

How many applications should you send?

Plans are about pace. Go Mini sends up to 50 in a week, about 8 a day, which is a good way to see how your profile performs. Go sends about 10 a day, Plus about 20 and Max about 50. Allowances are maximums: only applications actually submitted count, and how many go out depends on how many suitable jobs match your stack. See pricing for details.

Yes. On a paid plan, cancel the subscription in your Apple ID settings; applications stop at the end of the period you have paid for. The free run stops after five applications.

Which countries does auto-apply cover?

Auto-apply currently applies to remote roles open to candidates in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You can browse, save and track jobs in every region yourself.

Applications already sent can’t be recalled by CareerHawk. Contact the employer if you need to withdraw one; the job and company are listed in My Jobs.
