Three kinds of Python job
- Back-end web: Django, FastAPI or Flask APIs, usually with PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery and Docker.
- Data engineering: pipelines with Airflow, dbt, Spark or pandas, and a lot of SQL.
- AI and machine learning: PyTorch, TensorFlow and, increasingly, LLM applications with retrieval, vector databases and evaluation.
Put the tools you use on your stack and CareerHawk ranks Python jobs by how many of them each role asks for. Add “AI” or “LLM apps” if you build with language models; those roles are growing fastest.
Track demand for your Python stack
The home dashboard shows how many jobs matched your stack in the last seven days and which of your technologies employers mention most. If FastAPI is climbing while Flask is flat, you’ll see it. Our article on in-demand tech stacks explains how to read those numbers.
